Red Beans on Rice

- 2 cups Damla Trakya Osmancık Rice
- 3 cups hot water
- 1 coffee cup barley noodles
- 1 chicken bouillon
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Salt
We add butter to the pot and turn on the stove. After it is slightly heated, we add the barley noodles. We roast the noodles until they change color. We add the previously washed rice to the pot and continue roasting. We fry for about five minutes, stirring continuously. If you don’t stir, your rice may stick to the bottom. Meanwhile, add three glasses of hot water and chicken bouillon to a bowl and mix. We add this mixture to the pot in which we roasted the rice and barley. We mix it twice and then close the lid of the pot. We turn the heat down and cook for about fifteen minutes. During this process, we should not open the lid of the pot very often to check the rice. After ten minutes, we can open the lid and check whether the water has been absorbed. During this process, we should not open the lid too often. When the rice has completely absorbed the water, we turn off the heat and stir the rice several times, without holding the bottom of the rice. After mixing, we spread a paper towel over the pot and close the lid. We let it rest for about ten minutes. The paper towel will help absorb the steam and thus our rice will be grainy.
