  • Rice Salad
  • Damla Bulgur with Rice
  • Boiled Damla Cowpea

First of all, we prepare our rice salad. We wash the rice and add enough hot water to cover it. We let it sit for about twenty minutes. We drain the rice and fry it in olive oil for five minutes. Add hot water and salt and cook on low heat. Then we leave it to cool. We put our cooled rice into a large deep bowl. We add colorful cubed bell peppers, cooked peas, cooked cubed potatoes, cooked capers and cooked carrots. You can cook all the added ingredients in a pressure cooker or steamer. Finally, we add chopped dill and parsley and mix thoroughly. If you wish, you can add finely chopped pickles. We sweeten the mixture by adding lemon juice, olive oil and black pepper. Later, while our rice salad is mixed in a bowl, we make bulgur with lentils using classical methods. We also leave the bulgur with lentils to cool.

Now we can move on to the design part. We recommend that you use the corner plates you have at home. In this way, you can make many different presentations to your guests. You can put your rice salad and lentil bulgur into your corner plate using molds of different or the same size. You can put boiled black-eyed peas, lentils and chickpeas between these rice pilafs or on a different plate. If you wish, you can make a colorful presentation with sauce and spices. If you want to add a little more humor, you can present it to your guests with a Chinese chopstick…
