Pulses Factory Sales
Çağlayan Gida
Founded by Adnan Çağlayan in 1981, Çağlayan Gıda was established at the end of 1983 as Çağlayan Gıda San. and Tic. Ltd. Ltd. It has attained its current corporate identity. In 1987, it put its first automatic pulses packaging machine into operation and over time, it started to serve the whole country in the sale of packaged pulses. In 2003, it opened Turkey’s first pulses packaging facility in Kazan Sarayköy, built on an open area of 20,000 square meters and a closed area of 7,000 square meters. Thus, in addition to local markets and stores, its products are also offered for sale in national chain stores.
As of 2023, our packaging facility has an annual packaging capacity of 41,000 tons of pulses, 20,000 tons of rice and 43,000 tons of granulated sugar, with more than 50 personnel and fully automatic packaging machines.
With the investment made in 2021, it has put into operation the Pulse screening, cleaning and grading facility with 2 separate lines installed with the latest technology with a daily product screening capacity of 100 tons. Thanks to this facility, natural legumes purchased from farmers are processed and packaged in accordance with our standards.
The products it produces under the Damla brand, which was first registered in 1999, are on the shelves of many national and local markets. It also provides services under the Tanem brand for retail and out-of-home consumption customers. In addition, private label and contract production is made for many national stores.
Çağlayan Gıda family works with great devotion to meet consumer demands and needs. All products are produced in high quality and in accordance with TSE standards, and each product has TSE and Halal certificates. ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 22000 food safety management systems are implemented in our company.
We will continue to grow with firm steps on our path, based on the future of our country and our world and human health, by meeting the energy we use in our facilities from the 1 Mega watt capacity Solar Power Plant we installed on the roof of our facilities in 2022.

Beans (Fasulye): Beans come in various types and are widely consumed throughout Turkey. Different varieties such as kidney beans, cranberry beans, and pinto beans are popular choices.
Black-eyed Peas (Börülce): Also known as black-eyed beans, these are commonly grown in Turkey’s Black Sea region. They are prepared in various ways, including as a main dish, salad, or sauté.
Peanuts (Yer Fıstığı): Turkey is a significant producer of peanuts, particularly the renowned Antep peanuts in the Gaziantep region. Peanuts are commonly used in salads, breakfast dishes, and snacks.
Green Lentils (Yeşil Mercimek): Green lentils, primarily grown in Turkey’s Southeastern Anatolia region, are often used in pilaf, soup, and salads.
